INSTRUCTIONS

Open the link and allow the music to play in the background. If you have crystals you want to put close to you, take them now, and place them near you or your altar. Arrange the space according to how you wish it to be.

  1. Prepare your sacred space, and if you have a smudging tool (ex. Palo santo, or sage), light it up and smudge the area, and say “I cleanse this space of any dense and low vibration energies, and I call in the highest vibrations of love, peace and joy to bless this space for this offering I will be making.”

  2. Take a moment of silence (3-5 minutes), close your eyes, take deep breaths and feel what it is you are holding onto in your heart that is heavy and you want to let go of. Feel free to write it down on your sheet of paper, keep in mind that you will be burning these later.

The main guide questions here are:

  • What is an emotion/thought/event that is no longer helping me move forward in my life?

  • What is blocking me from going forward with my dreams?

  • What are the fears/doubts that I want to let go of already?

Example - If I know I am angry at someone, and I want to let go of that anger, I can write down “Anger towards ____.” or if I feel extreme sadness, I can write down “Grief from the loss of my mother”.  You will know you will have to write it down, because what you have to write down are normally situations, emotions, or thoughts that you normally resist speaking about to other people due to shame, guilt, pride or fear.

You can write as many as you want, or as little as you want, just make sure that you are being honest with yourself as you write these things down. There is nothing to hide, you are doing this for yourself, your own well-being and to strengthen your connection to the divine.

Remember, and are always cared for by the universe/source energy. :)

  1. Once you’ve finished, read and take a look at all that you’ve written, and see what you would like to call in/manifest as you let go of this energy. Think of all of them as offerings being sent back to source energy/universe/God/whatever you want to call it, as they have already served their purpose in your life.

The main guide questions here are:

  • What do I want to call in/manifest in my life as I let go of ____?

  • What do I want to invite into my life (ex. Emotion, state of being, a practice, etc.)?

  • What is the feeling I wish to feel on a daily basis?

Think of this part as an exchange, you offer what you want to let go of, and you invite what you want into your life to enter. Be specific with the emotion you want to feel.

Write these down in your journal, or a separate sheet of paper, and put the date there, so you see when these manifestations will come true for you.

3. Next, take your Fire Ritual Candle and place it in front of you, light it up. Take your first sheet of paper, and say out loud all that you’ve written down one by one  in the format of the candle you chose.

Examples:

  • “Today, I choose to let go of ____and I call in ____ ”. (ex. Anger, peace)

  • “Today, I choose to surrender ______ , and I allow myself to receive _____.”

(ex. my painful memories with my mother's death, inner peace and healing from what has happened)

There is a lot of power in saying it out loud, because you are sending a clear signal to the universe that you are ready to let this go, and that you have the space to receive what you are calling into your life.

  • After you have finished reading all that you’ve written out loud, fold this sheet of paper and burn it with the fire from the candle. Imagine all these energies going back to source, as they no longer belong with you as you are calling in a different energy into your life already.

  • Make sure to put the burning sheet of paper into the glass or metal bowl.

  • After this burning process, take a few minutes to ground into the energy of what you have called in. Close your eyes, and feel it as if it’s already within you.

  • When you feel ready, open your eyes, thank yourself and the universe for having done this ritual, and then blow the candle.

  • Make sure to give the ashes back to nature, either through mixing water with it and pouring it on your plant, or simply blowing the ashes into the wind in nature, or simply giving it back to the Earth.

Optional step: Use a whiteboard marker and choose 2 words that feel right for you to write on the glass jar that will remind you of the essence of the ritual you just did.

Ex. On your jar, there are 2 blank lines, and there you can put in your 2 words.

Today, I choose to let go of ____ and I call in ____ ”.

Today, I choose to let go of anger and I call in peace ”.

So that each time you light your candle, you shift and call in that vibration of the reality you want to be in.
